“Life’s a Beach sits pretty on the picturesque Summerleaze Beach in Bude” – it serves decent food, cold pints and has a load of seating on the shoreline (best at high-tide). Pint of Madri: £5.50.
Backdrop
Definitely a strong backdrop – epic when the sun is shining and the beer is flowing. L.A.B only loses a fraction of a point for the beach walkway that runs just in front of the seating area. As mentioned above, probably most impressive at high-tide.
Seating
There’s a long bench / bar facing the beach that can seat around 30 people (all in a row) as well as multiple family tables set a little back from the front.
Atmosphere
Buzzing atmosphere when I visited, vibey background music and a load of people enjoying the beery views.
